Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, and welcoming along your dog, there is more than enough space for everyone to join in the fun. The property offers fantastic views over Ludlow, a charming, historic market town. With its choice of eateries, supermarkets, walking routes and tourist attractions you will find everything you need there. Being close to Shrewsbury (28 miles) and the cathedral city of Hereford (23 miles) a day trip out can easily be added to your itinerary whilst staying in this fantastic barn.

The property has all the charm of a barn conversion, with its high vaulted ceilings, stable door offering fantastic views from the kitchen and its stone flooring with underfloor heating, lovingly fitted to ensure bare feet and paws are kept warm as you explore the rooms. If eating in is on the itinerary, then you'll be pleasantly surprised by the kitchen area which has ample cooking space for everyone to get involved. The central island, complete with breakfast bar stalls and benches located around the edge of the room, offers space for everyone to socialise and keep the chef company. The large, wooden dining table has more than enough seating for the whole group to sit down together to share a celebratory meal. On the ground floor you'll find a twin bedroom and WC which is handy for guests with limited mobility. A super king-size zip-and-link bedroom and a king-size bedroom can be found up the main staircase, both complete with en-suites. Up the other stairs is the double bedroom with en-suite where you can relax into the slipper bath at the end of a fun-filled day. The outside space offers a sheltered terrace with a fire pit, and plenty of garden space with stunning views. This is the perfect place to enjoy drinks of an evening as a group.

We had a wonderful Christmas. The barn was beautifully decorated full of Christmas cheer. We had a wonderful stay at Jack's Barn. Easy to book and our host was very welcoming. The Barn is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and well equipped. It is well situated with incredible views, plus it is very close to the River Teme and Ludlow town centre, where there are lovely shops, cafes, pubs and take-aways and historical buildings/monuRead morements to explore. We enjoyed doggy walks in Mortimer Forest just up the road from Jack's. We will definitely be booking Jack's Barn again. Hide

This is a wonderful property with fantastic views. Five star all round for housekeeping, kitchen equipment, quality linen, constant hot water and comfortable beds. Upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are glorious. There is so much space - five of us rattled around very happily. Spent a glorious week here at Jacks Barn, had the family and many grandchildren playing cricket together on the lawn. Plenty of room for everyone. Beautifully quiet, stunning views and the night sky shines out. Im sure we will return.

I cant recommend Jacks Barn highly enough. Stunning location, great views across the valley, but walkable into Ludlow in 15 mins. The barn is decorated beautifully and fitted to a very high standard. Lots of space for us all (3 couples) with multiple common areas. Also very well equipped and lots of kitchen space. A lovely host and adorable dog to Read morekeep you from missing your pets too much. Would love to return in the summer to use the bbq and fire pit area. The views from this really are amazing Hide

A fantastic property which is ideal for an extended family. The layout was ideal for three couples, with one of them having a child (or two), given two doubles are at one end of the very long property and the other with a downstairs twin at the other end. What a fabulous cottage this is. We had a wonderful stay here and thoroughly enjoyed the views, the warmth , the space, facilities and luxury. Excellent accommodation,clean comfortable and well equipped. Mrs Martin is extremely helpful with any queries. Location can't be bettered , wonderful views, very quiet but so close to Ludlow. Don't worry about the farm track access, our friends and us had no problems with normal saloon cars. Our only suggestion would be to lnstall a smart TV. The WRead moreiFi is excellent. Hide

Perfect all round. Truly stunning views. Much larger than it appeared in the pictures. It swallowed us. Very well appointed. Excellent base for Ludlow (a beautiful 1 mile walk down into the valley) and Shropshire (great walks - recommend Carding Mill Valley/Long Mynd - and lots of family activities). Totally beautiful barn with lovely views down towards Ludlow, which is a mile or so walk away. Patio furniture and a separate fire pit add an extra outside dimension to an already lovely spot.

This is a spacious, warm, well-equipped barn conversion -- everything you'd expect of a luxury self-catering stay. The barn owner is kind and friendly and on hand to answer any questions. Most amazing, and least appreciable from the photos, is the amazing location, with truly beautiful views across Ludlow and to the hills beyond. At night, the starRead mores are also visible in clear skies, which, for a city-dweller like me, is lovely to see in these otherwise light-polluted times. Highly recommended! Hide
