Enter the cottage and you'll find a sweet country welcome. Head into the light, airy lounge, where a sumptuous sofa and a wood burner in a gorgeous inglenook fireplace create a lovely cosy atmosphere. Light streams from the French doors through the space, and from here you can step out into the garden, turning a family mealtime into a long, lazy affair. The decor is country meets modern, with smart, unusual touches that will keep surprising you throughout your stay — it's the ideal place for a celebratory time with friends and family. On the same floor are three charming and spacious bedrooms. A king-size with an en-suite is your master room, with French doors opening out onto the patio for early morning views. A double and a double with an en-suite are just as pretty, with light, fresh decoration. Up the cottage-style stairs is another bedroom in the eaves of the house: a delightful twin room perfect for children to share, with games and plenty of storage to really make yourselves at home. A whole world awaits you in the garden of this property, with a rolling lawn, astonishing views, and a BBQ and eating area where you can enjoy al fresco meals. There's even a special garden room for secret talks, and a tennis court that beginners and old hands can use.

We had such a lovely relaxing holiday at Little Bardown. The house was suitable for a big family get away including a toddler and an infant. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We especially loved the view and tennis courts and my toddler loved taking walks around the farm to see the sheep and cows!
