Nestling at the end of a narrow lane just 200 yards from the beach sits this beautifully restored pair of fisherman’s cottages nestling alongside a shallow stream makes it makes an peaceful holiday location.

This beautiful and stylish coastal retreat lies on the rugged North Devon coastline in the picturesque village of Combe Martin. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, this is a fantastic property and location for families looking to get together for that special occasion. Situated within walking distance of the beach and amenities within the town, holidaying here is made effortless, giving you more time to spend doing the things you enjoy with the people you love. Spend your days down at the pretty harbour and sandy beach where you can try your hand at crabbing and kayaking. Then return to this tranquil haven to relax and unwind in your own private hot tub with a glass of wine, planning the next day’s adventures.

Originally two fishermen’s cottages, the property is arranged over three floors and has been thoughtfully converted using lovely attention to detail whilst retaining original features. The attractive lounge/dining area has a cosy rustic ambience, perfect for snuggling up together around the wood burner on those chillier nights. The spacious dining area is a great collective space where friends and family can socialise over breakfast before heading out for the day. The galley style kitchen is equipped with everything you might need to prepare for a little al fresco dining. Heading up the stairs to the first floor, you will find two charming king-size bedrooms displaying wooden beams and exposed whitewashed stonewalls. There are also two luxurious bathrooms on this floor, one with a stunning roll-top bath and double shower, and the other with a Jacuzzi bath and separate shower. The second floor comprises two twin bedrooms with Velux windows so you can stargaze before bedtime. Outside, the property benefits from an enclosed raised decked area with your own private hot tub. There is off-road parking for three cars.

Combe Martin is a pretty seaside village surrounded by glorious coast and countryside that borders the Exmoor National Park. The South West Coast Path passes through the village, providing walkers easy access to some of North Devon’s finest coastline. Combe Martin is a popular group holiday destination due to its secluded sandy beach, enviable coastal location and being within easy reach to many family attractions including Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. The thriving harbour town of Ilfracombe (5.5 miles) has become a popular spot to visit in recent years and is home to Verity, the famous Damien Hurst sculpture along with various restaurants owned by celebrity chefs. The beautiful harbour is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and is a great location for that family picnic in between browsing the town’s shops and galleries. The beaches of Woolacombe (12 miles) and Croyde (15 miles) are definitely worth visiting to try your hand at surfing, kayaking and paddleboarding, to name just a few.

Cosy cottage, convenient for the nearby beaches and local town. Gate access is very narrow, our party had a Mustang Mach-e and it was close to both sides. Please be aware that the garden has a right of way for the neighbours to use and can come through the garden as they please. Cottage was a delight, very roomy and warming. Well thought out accommodation providing you everything you need that you could think of. Even our doggy was well catered for. We had a really wonderful stay at Seacombe Cottage. It is well furnished and kitted out with great thought to detail and practicality. We really enjoyed our week and it worked well for us as a place to have an extended family holiday together. The beach is literally a stroll across the lane and this little beach is dog friendly. We have just returned from a wonderful relaxing break at Seacombe Cottage . A mixed group of grand parents , adult children , 2 small children and 2 medium size dogs . No one wanted to come home ! The hot tub and sheltered outdoor dining area is spacious and a sun trap and perfect for outdoor dining and family games. The outdoor wetroom and loo makes for easy transition from beach to hot tub. Beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need and more... fabulous bathrooms very comfortable beds with quality bedding.
