This delightful coastal property sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms, with the twin rooms able to be made into king-size rooms, adaptable for many different party make-ups. Inside, relax amongst period features which add character and a little history, whilst outside you can settle on the patio and look out over the vast, blue sea. Wonderfully located for those who love the sea and all it has to offer, in the early morning, take a 10-minute stroll along the South West Coast Path to the beach and start your day with a dip in the sea. With four spacious reception rooms, this elegant property has socialising at its heart. Here, find ample spaces for a group to relax together, with plenty of nooks for some quiet time.

Over its 500-year history, this property has been home to several notable figures. Light and elegant country style meets dark exposed beams and slate floors with this cottage retaining much of its original charm. Quirky features complement the neutral and understated palette, with the whitewashed walls allowing the light to travel through the property. Striking artwork and soft furnishings add tasteful flashes of colour creating a welcoming and cosy ambience. Find space to dine all together in the kitchen and more formally in the dining room, or perhaps use one table for jigsaws only! Take a cup of tea to the conservatory with a good book for some downtime, before relaxing together in the comfortable living room, lighting the wood burner on chilly evenings and snuggling down with a film. In warm weather, relocate to the garden, breathe in the fresh sea, sip a glass of wine and dine alfresco morning, noon and night on the patio as the kids enjoy playing in the sunshine. There is ample parking and, with shops, pubs and cafes 1 mile away, stocking up is easy.

For large families, The Old Borough House is the perfect base for exploring Cornwall. Tintagel itself is a great location and would thoroughly recommend exploring the castle and local bays. Food and drink wise, we enjoyed both The CornRead moreishman Inn and The Malthouse. The good: Location. Interesting old house. Comfy beds. Nice kitchen, comfy lounge. Not so good: Main bedroom had the smallest bed. Excuse for a bedroom door. Not even a door catch let alone a lock. Other bedrooms quite small. No locks on doors. Always bumping heads on low beams and door way. Bathrooms small & basic. Internet speed v low, no way to Read moreconnect tv to stream. Beautiful character House with sea view. Clean with everything you need. We didn't want to go home. If we win the lottery and it's for sale we would buy it. Tintagel has lovely pubs and restaurants certainly recommend the Cornishman for meals. Good portions and fresh food.

A wonderful stay with family and friends. Brilliant location close to town and stunning views from the cottage to the sea. Very spacious and comfortable and a very well equipped kitchen. Loved having a dining table in the kitchen, we used this every night to sit down for dinner. Felt right at home and would return again.

What a very unique and beautiful house. The house is steeped in history and we felt very lucky to be staying somewhere so special. Old Borough House was v characterful and the location was absolutely superb. The coastline being some of the best we have seen, access to local coves, coastal walks, Tintagel castle, cream teas and coasteering all on your doorstep. However good mobility also needed inside as stone steps, low doorways and beams all add to the interest!
