Property code: 44964

Large contemporary property sleeping eleven guests, situated on an exclusive development in the village of Meare in North Somerset, just three miles from Glastonbury and fifteen miles from the coast.

This sprawling property and garden, with a collection of six romantic double and king rooms, would make the ideal location for an extravagant couples' retreat for up to 11 people. Set in the beautiful countryside of North Somerset, and with the beach close by, it offers tranquillity and activity depending on your mood.

Inside, a delightful mix of modern style and country character brings the rooms together. First, the open-plan lounge and dining space, with cosy country details like a stone fireplace and a wood burner, has a dining table large enough for the whole team to discuss the day ahead. Through the French doors, head out onto the patio where you can sit and enjoy an al fresco meal surrounded by the sweeping lawn. Back inside, the kitchen is a gorgeously presented farmhouse-style room, with another eating space in case you want to split off into teams.

The bedrooms are the unusual highlight of this property. Three are on the ground floor and three upstairs; with enough double and king-size beds for five couples, plus an extra single room for your best single friend, everyone will have their own hideaway to escape to. Each bedroom is sweetly decorated with romantic, rustic details. Plus, there are two en-suites to fight over (one should probably be yours for finding this property). Outside, the patio, gravelled area and lawn provide the perfect pitstop before you set off on your adventures again, with furniture and a BBQ so you can burn the midnight oil and enjoy an al fresco dinner.

Be on your guard at this house! 75 deducted from cash deposit for rip in hot tub cover which was already there but we had no evidence! Owner contacted but no response - we feel this is a scam! If you are staying here photograph everything!!! Kitchen was filthy - black mould around the sink, worktops sticky, mould in small oven, urine on toilets.
