This lovely farmhouse offers a fabulous rural location in Devon, well off the beaten track, and surrounded by fields on a 300-acre working farm. Sleeping 10 over five bedrooms, it's perfect for groups of friends and families seeking a relaxing break together in glorious countryside seclusion. While it's private, it's not in the middle of nowhere – the local pub in Weare Giffard is just 1 mile away, giving you a fantastic option when you don't want to cook. If you want to explore the Devon countryside further, you'll find it easy, with the Tarka Trail 1 mile away.

The property is stylish and private, and well set up for groups to make the most of their holiday. There is a welcoming lounge decorated and furnished in warm colours, and a large comfortable sofa to kick back on. A wood burner will keep everyone toasty on even the chilliest of nights. You'll find extra living space in the conservatory. The dining room is equally cosy, with a wood burner of its own, so you can eat and chat into the early hours without feeling the cold. The table easily seats ten, so you won't feel squashed. After dinner, head to the games room with its multi-games table and board games. The kitchen is a real highlight, making it easy to cook for everyone. There is a large Aga-style range cooker for that farmhouse feel, a handy island unit and a breakfast table where you can grab your morning coffee and prepare for the day. You'll never have to worry about running out of space for food, as there's an American-style fridge freezer in the kitchen and another fridge in the adjacent pantry. There's also a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bedrooms are all on the first floor, and two have en-suite bathrooms and their own TVs. There's also a third family bathroom. Outside, you'll find a mature, pretty garden on three levels that is a heavenly escape from the world. The sheltered hot tub is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring, and the ornamental pond adds a touch of character. There is ample parking.

Amazing place for a large group - probably one of the best we have been to. Its a working farm so there is a bit of barn and cows smell outside which we didn't mind - the cottage itself was awesome and really worked for us - there was no disturbance from anybody and we could really have a good laugh.

This farmhouse is on a working dairy farm. Having said that, we found it very peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful scenery and walks around the farmland. Beautifully kept gardens and plenty of activities/outdoor to play. Plenty of space within the farmhouse to find somewhere to have some quiet time to yourself if needed.
