Property description
A handsome log eco-lodge, beautifully situated in the wilderness along Papoose Creek, offering imaginative cooking, abundant wildlife, spectacular views, the freshest of air, and the biggest of skies. The perfect place for a 'lodge buyout', ie takeover by a big group. Be as active or as relaxed as you like, lounging in the sunshine on the wooden deck or taking advantage of a full menu of outdoor activities. Well used by large groups on holiday.
Location
The property stands alongside the meandering Papoose Creek, in south west Montana's upper Madison River Valley, 40 minutes from Yellowstone National Park.
Accommodation
The beautifully woody lodge offers 5 star comfort. There are five guest rooms in the main lodge and three spacious pioneer-style cabins. The lodge, with its massive log structure, spacious decks and cosy living room serves as the gathering place for meals, activities, entertaining and relaxation.
Facilities
There are plenty of comfy chairs for evening readings and lectures, and a library of reading material on local flora, fauna and history. The chefs work in an open kitchen, preparing five-course meals. A restful outdoor hot tub with massage area beckons at the end of every day.
Area
Guests can become wannabe wranglers for the week or fish every day in the waters of the Madison, Gallatin, Henry's Fork and Yellowstone Rivers. They can also hike, horse ride, take gourmet picnics into flower-filled meadows or paddle canoes on scenic lakes.
