Accommodation
The house is decorated in traditional style, with sunny bay windows and dormers on the top floor. You will open the front door and enter a large reception hall and sweeping staircase.
The main living room, decorated in soft pink wallpaper and carpeting, has plenty of space for you all to relax and spread out in, a TV and DVD/video player, a gas fire and lots of squishy sofas and armchairs. A smaller lounge next door has another TV, ideal for children with their own agenda.
The dining room has plenty of space, a hi-fi, and a large, farmhouse style table and chairs, seating 20. A door leads from the ground floor into the garden.
The sleeping arrangements are very flexible. All nine bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, plus TVs, kettles and hairdryers. There are five doubles (you’ll have to toss for the double four poster with canopy!) two twins, and two family rooms (doubles with an extra single bed in each).
A group of 22 can happily prepare large meals in the kitchen, as there’s generous food preparation space and a six-burner gas hob. There are two separate utility rooms, one housing additional freezers and an American-style fridge, the other a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Facilities
A games room with pool and bar billiards tables, a football game and darts.
Bed linen and central heating are included. A cot and high chair are available.
There’s parking room for four cars.
