Property description
Thirty seconds from the beach, Stone Court is a newly renovated, spacious New England-style holiday house. The house is set in an acre of land, and has its own outdoor heated pool. It is on a private and secure beachside estate, with security guards operating daily at weekends throughout the summer.
This interior-designed villa has featured in numerous lifestyle magazines, and is furnished beautifully. Look out for it on Channel 5's 'Who Owns Britain's Best Home?' on April 2 2009. The property is inhabited by a family with young children who travel frequently, and therefore let the house for holiday rentals. The whole house has a very comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable feel to it, with big squashy sofas in abundance. There are nine bedrooms, easily accommodating up to 16 adults, plus a further four children in a bunk bed room. Both the drawing room and dining room have a glamorous feel that compliments the rest of the house, with sumptuous suedes and silks and lots of room for big group entertaining.
The double-height, 30 foot long Smallbone kitchen includes all the latest mod cons and is the room with the biggest wow factor. It has an adjacent TV room with a 55” plasma screen. There are a further two plasmas in bedrooms and TVs in another four bedrooms. There are also DVD players in many bedrooms, hundreds of films available, adult board games and children’s toys.
Altogether, Stone Court is geared to a busy and active household. Guests tend to spend their time on the beach, walking, sailing and playing tennis. There are various activities and sites to visit and festivals to attend, including Arundel and Brighton Festivals, Goodwood and Glyndebourne.

Adjacent to the study is a well-stocked library, a quiet haven for relaxing and reading, but also a fully-functioning 21st century work environment, with three computers, wireless broadband, a printer and fax machine etc.
There’s a barbecue area outside seating 24, which is more urban contemporary in style than the rest of the garden.
