Willow Tree is a delightful, former farmhouse in the heart of a traditional Cornish village. It's just the job for a couple of families or up to 12 adults looking for a peaceful holiday base. The bedrooms are simply but carefully decorated, the kitchen is farmhouse style with a range cooker and a long table for group meals, there's a barbecue on the deck and an enclosed lawned garden with a 10-seater hot tub. There are some lovely country lanes for walking or cycling straight from the house, including a gentle 10-minute stroll to two village pubs. Long sandy beaches lie to the south, the rugged scenery of Dartmoor to the east and popular attractions like The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short drive away.
The five bedrooms each have their own themed décor in terms of curtains, cushions and colour. All are clean, carpeted, sunny and warm. There's one double with an en suite shower room; 1 double/twin with an extra single bed; one regular twin; one room with three singles; and one bunk bed room. A family size bathroom has bath and shower; there's also a separate shower room.
The two living rooms allow for various ways for the party to relax. Both have TVs and DVD players. One has a wood burner and leads to a sunny conservatory.
The hot tub is socially large and is housed in a wooden gazebo building in the garden – great fun whatever the weather!
