Need to book group accommodation in Lancashire that ticks all the boxes? Stay at this converted barn in Pilling, near Blackpool, for a cosy location on a working farm where you can greet cows, pigs and goats each day. The inside is roomy and there's plenty of outdoor space, including a shared play area for children and a private garden. This traditional cottage sleeps up to 10 people over five bedrooms – perfect for if you're celebrating a family birthday or attending a wedding in Lancaster, Morecambe or Blackpool. Four dogs are also most welcome to come along – they'll love the rural location as much as you do. During your stay, take scenic walks right from right outside your front door and access two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty 12 and 20 miles away. The sea is a mere 1.5 miles away.

The inside of the cottage has a traditional feel, with original features such as wooden beams which add to its character. Extra touches such as underfloor heating and a soak-ready roll-top bath make it feel extra homely. The open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner has a large wooden table where you can all enjoy evening meals together. There's also an area with sofas for relaxing, as well as plenty of floor space so the children can spend time together nearby while the adults chat or play cards at the dinner table. A separate lounge has a wood burner where you can keep cosy on chilly evenings – here you'll find a TV/DVD player where you can watch films together in the evenings. Outside, take the whole family on a tour of the working farm and make friends with sheep, horses and hens living alongside you.

We really enjoyed our stay, very roomy, and comfortable, didnt like the wast bin, a pedal bin would have been better, ideal for a family, and for a disabled people, wet room is a good size, one small observation, the shower chair could do with replacing with a shower commode, We bought our own, so it was not a problem.down stairs is very easy to moRead moreve around in a wheelchair. Lovelybuilding although could benefit from regular maintenance and kitchen tables really need sanding and varnishing, we cleaned on every use and still felt sticky. No real check in or out with owners despite being on site.

Lovely property, homely and comfortable and spacious, owners are so nice and help with every query. The children enjoyed playing outside with the dogs, and visiting all the animals. Great base for visiting Blackpool, Morecombe, Lancaster, Garstang etc. And I would highly recommend the local Thai restaurant,

Unfortunately this was a disappointing stay at the old Barn at Bell Farm. Cleanliness of the property was not to a high standard as one would expect and the cost paid. Loved our stay as a multigenerational family. Better if you are relaxed about things, we had a couple of leaks and you have to watch out for dog poo on the grass. However, the children loved the animals and scooting around the drive. Rooms were better than the pictures suggested. Main issue was the lack of reliable wifi although the property was adRead morevertised as having it. Some days we had none and phone signal was poor. We would rent it again. Hide
