Set at the foot of glorious rolling hills and overlooking the Severn valley, Plas Dinam is the perfect location to enjoy un-spoilt Welsh countryside at its best. Whether for a weekend or holiday with friends, as a corporate getaway or as a spectacular wedding venue, Plas Dinam is the luxurious, magnificent and, above all, welcoming place you’ve been looking for.
The Grade II listed historic house has extensive grounds, which include a tennis court, stables and wood-lined paths. Beyond the gardens lie stunning hills waiting to be explored with numerous outdoor activities from hiking to golf and horse riding to mountain biking on offer.
Plas Dinam has been a much loved family home for over a hundred years. Five generations of the famous Davies family of Llandinam have lived here and in 2011 Lord and Lady Davies decided to “downsize” and move out. Now we invite you to come and experience this wonderful house.
As you enter Plas Dinam, up the stairs to the huge wooden, carved door, you read to your left PAX INTRANTIBUS (peace to all who enter) and SALUS EXENTIBUS (health to all who leave). This is the start of a journey around a place you will not forget, where all 37 rooms have their own interesting feature. It is a masterpiece.
The house is so well designed that with a family of 4 it does not feel empty, and a party of 30 it does not feel full. A fire in 2001 meant that the whole house was redecorated to a very high standard. Further improvements were made in 2011 resulting in luxurious rooms.
