A stunning Edwardian house within a 1500-acre estate, this is the ideal property for a large party retreating to a countryside hideaway in beautiful Perthshire. Up to 24 guests can stay here, sleeping across 11 bedrooms, and with two hours of housekeeping a day and additional help available, you will be well looked after during your holiday. Weddings can be held at the house, and it’s a great place for guests to celebrate any special occasion, with a multi-use games/function room just perfect for partying. In the garden is a private tennis court, and you can also fish for salmon and have a go at clay shooting, both within the grounds.

Colourful and charming throughout, the house has been decorated in a way that feels homely, with an eye to the traditional. The wood-panelled hallway, which you will step into on your return from a day exploring the local area, is both grand and welcoming. Store coats and shoes away in the two cloakrooms and gun/boot room. There’s ample room for all your food and drink supplies, so you can plan for a true rural retreat and stock the kitchen, pantry and cold room with everything you’ll need during your stay. Light the fire in the dining room and set out candles for an extra special meal together. When everyone has finished, decide whether to have a quiet evening relaxing in the elegant drawing room, or head to the games room. There, compete at table tennis, or put your favourite playlist on, push the furniture back, and dance into the small hours. When you’re ready for a lie down and a long sleep, retire to one of the pretty bedrooms, which are spread across the first and second floors. In the morning, feel refreshed with a stroll through the garden, and return to sit in the sunroom with a cup of English Breakfast tea.

Please note that the caretaker requires full access to the property during your stay.  This is to carry out household chores and will be kept to a minimum.

For a truly wild day out, travel 23 miles to the Highland Fling bungee centre, plunging into the Scottish landscape from a nail biting 40-metre platform.

If you came to Perthshire with hiking and mountain biking in mind, then prepare to bag a Munro or two during your stay. The Cairnwell mountain peak (16.5 miles) is considered a relatively unchallenging mountain to summit, ideal for families with younger kids or those less experienced in outdoor pursuits. Many more experienced walkers visit the area to hike both Cairn Gorm and Ben Macdui, both of which can be found just over 35 miles from your home.

Whilst Scotland may be best known for its whisky distilleries, you'll find a warm welcome at the local Persie Gin Distillery, which is just 0.5 miles from your home. Drop by to visit their working still, enjoy some free gin samples or even experience a ‘liquid tour' tasting session.

A Beautiful house full of character and history, As a group of 17 adults we had a fantastic time, really cosy, the kitchen is well-equipped and the caretaker's Carol & Steve were friendly, welcoming and wonderfully attentive but never intrusive. The only small negative and a thing Everyone mentioned as a suggestion was the Addition of a large TV foRead morer everyone to watch a movie or play a videogame would have been good as the one they have is tiny for such a big property . Beautiful house, incredibly well stocked kitchen with basic cooking ingredients and any cooking equipment you can think of. Carol and Stephen were wonderful hosts keeping the place tidy and the fires on all weekend. We would gladly go back!

Comfortable and cosy, despite the size. Loads of space - great downstairs with noisy kids at one end in the games room, and peace for adults in front of the log fire, in the the lovely lounge at the other end. Full marks for caretakers - frendly and helpful.
