The house which dates back to the 1840's has been fully renovated and stylishly modernised to provide a very high standard of accommodation for families, adult groups or those simply looking for a peaceful and spacious retreat in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Five in total, all on the first floor. The en suite master bedroom has a super-King size sleigh bed (6'), bedside units, wardrobe, drawers and stunning country views. The elegant en suite bathroom has a freestanding Bette bath (with hand held shower), separate shower cubicle with rain head and hand-held shower attachment, wash hand basin, w.c. and heated towel rail. (N.B. This bathroom can also be accessed from the first floor landing offering a 'Jack and Jill' entry option for families). A second double room has a King size metal framed bed, drawers, wardrobe and similarly lovely views. The third bedroom has a King size bed, bedside units and drawers. In addition there are two twin rooms (interlinking if required) each with two single beds, drawers and bedside unit. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding beach towels) are supplied.
At ground floor level is a study with leather sofa which can be converted to a King size bed on request.

East Portlemouth is a pretty village, on the opposite bank of the tidal estuary to Salcombe. Visitors to this lovely area can enjoy spectacular water views, build sandcastles on the unspoilt sandy beaches, or catch the small foot passenger ferry across to Salcombe for an afternoon shopping.
The beautiful South West Coast Path provides fantastic walks to Gara Rock and beyond, whilst the historic maritime town of Dartmouth is a scenic 15 mile drive away. Coast & Country Cottages have many lovely coastal cottages in this picturesque place.
