The chapel is situated on a quiet country road on the edge of a nature reserve that offers excellent walks and views over St Ives Bay and Mounts Bay. A footpath down to the beaches provides a great walk if you are feeling energetic, approximately 5 miles (or 15 minutes by car). A large open cobbled patio at the front of the chapel creates an ideal area for the party to enjoy a BBQ and a glass of wine in the sun. Many fun days out can be enjoyed at The Paradise Wildlife Park, The Minack Theatre and Flambards Theme Park. The chapel nestles between 2 small Cornish villages, and child-friendly pubs serving good food are within a few miles.
Camborne is named from the Cornish for crooked hill – Kammbronn and the local landscape is dominated by Carn Brea Hill where there are remains of Iron Age hill forts. Carn Brea Castle, with spectacular views across to St Ives and The Lizard, will provide a unique dining experience and is a must to visit.
Plenty of family attractions are within easy reach. You can even purchase tin jewellery which is manufactured locally from tin stocks taken from the once thriving South Crofty Tin Mine.
