Bix Farm is a stunning, 9-bedroom, Grade II listed house in the Cotswolds, newly renovated by award-winning architects. This is a particularly attractive house for those who love being active outdoors, as it comes with 80 acres of gentle Cotswold land, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The land is available for the sole use of guests, ideal for team games and party receptions etc.
The house itself is thoroughly modern, built in honey-coloured Cotswold stone and decorated in minimalist white and stone-coloured style. There is a large drawing room, library, playroom, kitchen, dining room, two studies, nine bedrooms and six bathrooms.
There are nine bedrooms altogether, configured as follows:
Four doubles, one twin, two singles (both with an extra trundle bed if required) and one bunk bed room. A single en suite bedroom off the kitchen is perhaps more suitable for staff. There's also a small double sofa bed in one of the studies which can be made up if required. Therefore, the house can comfortably sleep 17, with capacity for 19.
The master bedroom has ensuite His and Her bathrooms and dressing rooms, and a huge glass window looking out over quintessentially English countryside.
The dining table can seat up to 18 people.
The very large drawing room has bare stone walls, two big white sofas, various armchairs, a wood burning stove and well-positioned lighting, all arranged below exposed wooden beams.
