Quite simply one of the most spectacular views in Salcombe. Almira overlooks the estuary and out to sea, with panoramic views across the bar to East Portlemouth. The accommodation is equipped to the highest standard and is designed to be beautiful, comfortable, practical, and relaxing. Glazed on three sides and full of light, sliding doors onto an extensive balcony allow in both the breeze from the water and the sound of the waves. Primarily open plan but with quiet spots for reading or reflection, it is ideal for extended family holidays or gatherings. Six en-suite bedrooms and large dining tables accommodate 12 happily. With its sophisticated heating and air-conditioning system, Almira is suited for either winter or summer breaks. Five minutes walk to North Sands, the Winking Prawn and tennis court, and ten minutes into town make it ideally placed.

There is an enormous amount to see and do in this part of the South Hams, hence its popularity with visitors – multiple sandy and surfing beaches, Overbecks National Trust property (10 mins), Dartmouth (40 mins), Dartmoor National Park (30 mins), Kingsbridge Farmers' Market (twice monthly), Eden Project (1.5 hrs) to name but a few. Salcombe itself is hugely popular for its wonderful location, excellent sailing, watersports and beaches, surf shops, pubs, restaurants, delis and cafes. The Marine Hotel in town has an indoor pool, open to non-residents.

The pricing of Almira is dependent upon occupancy. If let for less than 12 persons some bedrooms and bathrooms may be closed. The details of this will be confirmed at the time of booking.
