1908 Lodge is an Edwardian property, which has recently had a complete makeover. It has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and a large garden for children to run around in, complete with a hot tub. It can accommodate large groups, families or corporate clients. Located in the Portsmouth Harbour area of Hampshire, it has great access to local shops and bars, and is only a five-minute ferry trip away from Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, which has plenty of bars, shops, restaurants and clubs etc.
The nearest beach is Stokes Bay, two minutes’ drive.
The 1908 Lodge is a unique row of Edwardian homes - Wings 1, 2 and 3. We are featuring Wing 1 here, which sleeps up to 19 guests. You could also book Wing 2 (sleeping 12) or Wing 3 (sleeping 9). Each Wing has its own private hot tub, garden and accommodation, with the choice of opening the wings to larger groups with interlocking doors.
Inside the old redbrick walls, the décor is thoroughly contemporary, with gleaming polished wooden floors, newly painted white walls hung with splashes of modern artworks, 21st century bathrooms, and soft white duvets below dark wood headboards in all the bedrooms.
Wing 1 has two dining rooms adjacent to each other – one seats 12, the other 7. Both are located next to the kitchen.
The bedrooms are all zip and link doubles/twins. A few rooms have additional sofa beds too. Travel cots are available as required.
