Mutton and chicken are the common meats used in recipes and Macedonia’s warm climate provides fantastic conditions for vegetable, herb and fruit growth. Traditional delicacies to try include Tavce gravce, a local bean dish, and Mastika which is a liqueur seasoned with resin from the mastic tree.
