Visit the lighthouse, enjoy a ferry ride across the River Blyth and navigate your way through the Maize Maze (2 miles). Further afield, discover some of the UK’s rarest wildlife at the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve (11.5 miles), where you might glimpse an otter around the coastal lagoons.
The hub of this lovely house is the large kitchen/dining/family room, which has pale wooden floors throughout. A stylish contemporary kitchen, with a carefully preserved ornamental fireplace at one end, opens to a roomy lounge area. This has a dramatic vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and is flooded with light from large windows and the French doors opening onto the garden. Housing a dining table and elegant seating for eight, it is a welcoming space, furnished with comfortable sofas and easy chairs, from where you can relax and watch the Smart TV. There is a separate lounge, also with wooden flooring and a TV and a cosy wood burner in an open brick fireplace. The ground floor houses two pretty bedrooms. One is a king-size with an en-suite shower cubicle and WC, while the other has twin beds. Also on this floor is a separate shower room with a cubicle and WC. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, a twin with en-suite bathroom and a king-size with en-suite shower room, both beautifully decorated.
Outside, the pretty courtyard garden is enclosed by brick walls and greenery, and has a patio with table and chairs, from where you can see the beautiful tower of historic St Edmund’s church.
