Nestled on a working farm close to the charming village of Templeton, discover this beautiful countryside escape, perfect for large families or groups planning a special get-together with the dogs in tow. With miles of rolling Devon countryside on your doorstep and easy access to tourist attractions, you'll never be far from entertainment for the whole family. Located in the heart of mid-Devon there are miles of walks to be enjoyed, including the Two Moors Way (7 miles), which meanders through a rural landscape teeming with wildlife. With an array of market towns and pretty villages nearby including Tiverton (5 miles), Crediton (12 miles), South Molton (16 miles), and the historic city of Exeter (18.5 miles), guests are never far from a traditional Devonshire day out. Enjoy days out in the National Parks of Dartmoor (21 miles) and Exmoor (12 miles), perfect for those wishing to walk or cycle this awe-inspiring landscape.

With its thatched roof, wooden beams and old wooden doors, this spacious Grade 2-listed longhouse charms with its history and character that dates back to the 17th century. Step into the generous boot room complete with washing and drying facilities, and a separate WC, before walking through to the country-style kitchen. Here, you’ll find everything you’ll need to cook your favourite meals away from home or prepare snacks and drinks for special occasions. When it comes to dining, there’s enough room at the long table in the kitchen for all ten guests to gather and enjoy memorable meals, while the round table in the separate dining room is equally as inviting thanks to the wooden beams overhead. On entering the airy lounge you’ll find plenty of comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and the added luxury of a wood burner set in an original inglenook fireplace. The only ground floor bedroom is found next to the lounge; a super-king-size room with an en-suite shower room, offering easy access. Upstairs, guests will find the remaining four bedrooms; three super-king-size rooms all with zip-and-link beds that can be converted into twins on request, and finally, a double bedroom. Completing the upstairs is a well-equipped family bathroom for all to stay relaxed and refreshed.

After a day of adventures around Devon, retreat to the large hot tub that awaits outside, providing the perfect view of the surrounding countryside. Also outside, is an open lawn space with a football goal, badminton net and a basketball hoop. On rainy days, head to the cover of the old pig shed for a family table tennis tournament. Completing the outside space is the BBQ and furnished patio space to ensure memorable al fresco meals and parties.
