This beautiful holiday home makes a fabulous retreat for larger families and groups of friends looking for a quiet getaway within easy reach of the heart of Swansea. Situated in a tranquil spot on a hill offering panoramic views over this bustling city, the property is just 0.5 miles from Uplands, where you can find a range of friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as the popular Cwmdonkin Park. The birthplace of the poet Dylan Thomas is just 200 metres way, and Swansea itself is home to attractions including the Dylan Thomas Centre, Plantasia and the National Waterfront Museum. Heading immediately west you can explore the stunning secluded beaches, gorgeous bays and quaint villages of the Gower Peninsula.

The house is approached via double electric gates and a long block paved driveway. Entering the house, the spacious hallway has oak flooring, an oak staircase and a stained-glass window. There’s a bright and relaxing lounge with French doors offering uninterrupted views, as well as an airy and stylishly designed kitchen/diner. If you’re in the mood for a movie, head through to the cinema room, which offers a large screen with Dolby surround speakers, plenty of seating and even a popcorn machine. The ground floor also has a laundry room and a tiled shower room. Upstairs, the first floor offers three of the property’s five coolly decorated and peaceful bedrooms. Here you can choose between a double, a king-size room and an en-suite super-king-size, each with a TV, dressing table and plenty of storage space. The main family bathroom is also on this floor. Heading up to the second floor you will find the last two bedrooms, both doubles, as well as a handy shower room and an additional WC.

The front garden has a large sunken trampoline and an enclosed play area with swings, monkey bars, a slide and a playhouse. To the rear of the property, steps lead down to a large patio, enclosed with a railing, and offering panoramic views over Swansea Bay. The patio features a hot tub with space for six guests, along with a BBQ, outdoor lighting and plenty of garden furniture. The lower level of the garden features a path leading between flowering bushes and mature trees.
