Within a mile of the picturesque village of Burley, this fabulous getaway has been stylishly furnished and beautifully decorated to provide an ideal hideaway for eager walkers, cyclists and nature lovers discovering the region’s quaint villages and magnificent countryside.

This fabulous retreat features a light and spacious lounge with a Smart TV and comfortable seating, perfect for a movie night together. The ground floor also offers a fresh and fully equipped kitchen/diner leading through to the delightful conservatory. Exploring the ground floor further, there’s a useful boot room with underfloor heating and a shower room, leading to a games room with a Smart TV, PS4 and arcade games machine. This room can also accommodate two extra guests in a king-size bed or twin beds. Finally, the cosy study has a handy sofa bed. Going upstairs you will find five charming bedrooms: the first is a pretty super-king-size room which features a Juliet balcony and a chic en-suite bathroom; there’s also a lovely king-size room, a second en-suite super-king-size room and two children’s rooms each with bunk beds and an additional single bed. The accommodation is rounded off with an invigorating family bathroom. Double doors lead from the kitchen and the lounge onto a relaxing terrace with a generous dining table and a BBQ providing an ideal space for enjoying a meal alfresco. The gardens stretch for half an acre around the house, with a variety of patio areas, expansive lawns for playing croquet, badminton and football, a delightful paddock and a soothing hot tub to unwind in. Children will also have access to a splash pool, slide and pedal go-karts.

Burley (1 mile) is a quaint and friendly village which is home to Burley Park and a choice of delightful restaurants, tearooms and a pub. The property lies in the western part of the New Forest, with nearby attractions including Durmast House and Gardens, Kingston Great Common National Nature Reserve, Avon Tyrell Outdoor Activity Centre and Bagnum Equestrian Centre, all within 5 miles. For a day by the sea, head south to the beautiful beaches at Christchurch (8 miles) and Hengistbury Head (10 miles), with the popular resort of Bournemouth also within easy reach (16 miles).

Fantastic family stay. Location is so peaceful and offered the perfect opportunity to unwind, whilst also being a pleasant 20 min walk into Burley. Kitchen in particular was very well equipped. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

A beautiful, cosy and well-equipped home for a peaceful break. The surroundings are calm and quiet and allow for relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely walks, local ponies, and quaint villages on your doorstep. Look forward to rebooking in the future!
