The first bedroom, a super-king-size, with en-suite bathroom, can be found along a corridor. A step up will then take you to a king-size, a twin and the family bathroom. Another king-size bedroom and a separate WC are to the other side of the barn. Spill out on to the deck to bubble in the hot tub and dine in the fresh air, against the stunning, rural backdrop. Pay a visit to Ingleborough Estate to enjoy more than a mile of mystical lakeside woodland before delving underground to see the fascinating geology of Ingleborough Cave (4 miles) en route. A quaint cafe along the way offers a place to stop off and indulge in tasty treats with your loved ones, be it a slice of cake or a hearty lunch and the estate is host to a number of fabulous family-friendly events throughout the year. Pack a picnic and visit the crystal-clear spectacle of Scaleber Force waterfall within the Scaleber Wood Nature Reserve, just 2 miles away from the town of Settle and you’ll be mesmerised by the tranquillity of the area.

Settle (8 miles) is a well-loved and bustling market town home to lots of lovely cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. There's also a thriving market held in the town every Tuesday - the perfect place to pick up everything from flowers to dinner that night. If real ale is your thing, there are three fantastic real ale pubs set around the marketplace, so you can choose which one to try each evening!

Just outside of town, you can hop on the Settle to Carlisle railway, one of the most scenic routes in the UK which will take you over the well-known Ribblehead Viaduct (12 miles). Beyond Settle, you have the exquisite delights of the Yorkshire Dales. And, as you would expect, the surrounding countryside here is simply magnificent, perfect if you want to strike out from the cottage in your walking boots or on your bicycle.

The historic town of Skipton (23 miles) is also close by and offers a host of other attractions including its very own castle. There are lots of options to eat here as well as independent shops making it a great option for a full day out. Other nearby attractions include the Kilnsey Trout Farm and horse riding at Coniston, Malham.

It's a true walker's paradise here but if you're more of a roamer than a rambler, try a stroll around the grounds of nearby Bolton Abbey (29 miles). These gorgeous ruins provide the backdrop to a particularly beautiful part of the Dales and are well worth a visit. There are a host of other attractions all within easy reach including Malham Cove and Malham Tarn (both 15 miles).

Great place to stay with fantastic views - perfect base in the Dales for a long weekend. Views from the hot tub hard to beat! Plenty of space, particularly with 3 mid/large sized dogs. Would like to come back for another visit soon!

A wonderful place to stay, especially with my elderly parents. We all appreciated the very pretty location. The layout and original care that had been taken on the building and furnishings is well worth the 5 stars. The open area living/kitchen/dining area is superb and all rooms are very well equipped to suit people of all ages along with a dog. We had a lovely stay at Coppy View house. The house was very spacious, clean and warm, the beds were really comfortable with nice bed linen. The view from the lounge and the hot tub is amazing. Quite close to Settle and Clapham. Be careful with showering as the water does run cold if not used carefully.

We stayed for a week and could have easily stayed longer. Cottage was fantastic, so many extras that were so perfect (E.g books and games for all, all the kitchen mod cons). We ate so well in the villages close by and loved exploring them, had lovely walks and our dogs and kiddos loved the big garden! Will stay again.
